Sales suggestions - Bags

Here are a few bags suggestions on sales. I've chosen neutral tones because it's a must have, bags in neutral tones match with everything and have much more use than colorful ones, that's why it's best to invest more money on quality neutral bags.

Sunblock

The sun's rays are very tempting, and at this point we want to absorb as much vitamin D as possible, but we can not forget that they can also be dangerous if proper protection methods are not used. That is why, that you can't
forget the sunblock, an hat and avoiding the sun between 12 to 16 pm.
I always use SPF 50 for the face and body and carry on my bag an hat and a bottle of water to keep hydrated.

Enjoy summer and don't forget to protect yourself from the sun!

COS arrives in Portugal

COS, the famous clothing brand from the H&M group makes its debut in Portugal with its very first shop on the prestigious Avenida da Liberdade, Lisbon. 

For the ones who are unfamiliar with this brand, COS (Collection of Style) is the litle sister of H&M, present on the top cities, mostly in Europe. 
 It says it combines “design and high quality at an affordable price,” but places itself in a slightly higher segment than the called "fast-fashion".  It has collections for men, women, and children, where minimalist is the word of command.

I can't wait to go there and have a sneak peak on the fall/winter collection!

Sales Suggestions - Leather Jackets

The leather jacket is a must on every woman's wardrobe, they are made on different colours, styles and shapes that can suit any body type. It's wise to invest some money in a great piece that will last you an eternity than buy a cheaper one that within a year or two will be visibly damaged. That's why sales are there perfect opportunity to invest on a good leather jacket.

I selected these three jackets from Mango on three different colours for my suggestions.

Expiration Date

It's not only food that has expiration date, cosmetics and make up also have an expiration date. People tend to ignore it but it's very important to pay attention to this because the quality of the products is altered with time.

Only recently I've found out what these containers with numbers meant (shame on me!)

The open containers mean that after opening the product the same will last 36,12 or 9 months (respectively). 
This is the most common indication, while some products come with a set date (month/year).


My problem is that I tend to forget when i open the products (it happens all the time)  so I think I've found the solution on this image, stickers where you can put the date of openning.

I couldn't resist you... Cantê

Cantê's collection has blown my mind away, and I couldn't resist not having a piece on my wardrobe. The chosen one was Esther. As soon as I saw it on the lookbook I knew it was perfect for me.

I'm very pleased with its quality and fitting, and also with the quickness of the girls of the shop that replied all my emails and within a day my order was at home.

Summer Sales

The Sales season has begun a couple of weeks ago and most of the shops have now reached very reasonable prices. On Winter Sales I wrote a small text with some guidelines about what to buy (you can see it here) and as it doesn't hurt to remind, here's some tips to have in consideration on the Spring/Summer Sales.

1. Make a list of things that are lacking or need replacement in your wardrobe.

2. Set a budget. That will help you to not overspend.

3. Go to the shops early in the morning, that way you avoid crowds and find an organized shop.

4. Always check the original price of a garment to see exactly how much you are saving.

5. Check if the pieces are in good conditions. 

6. Go for Quality over quantity!

7. Have a look on the next season trends and bet on pieces that can be carry over to the next season

8. Don't forget that this is the perfect time to purchase Basics!
