White Shirts

To end up my sales suggestions, I present you my selection of white shirts. (note to yourself, every woman should have at least one white shirt in her wardrobe, I advise more than one in different styles).
These shirts are all for Mango (my new crush) and they are all different, a sleeveless shirt for summer (can easily be use in a formal outfit or in super casual look), the oversized linen shirt (it's perfect to casual looks) and finally the silk basic shirt (perfect for every occasion).

Sales suggestions - Accessories

The sale season is also great to buy some accessories. Personally, I tend to ignore these items during the year waiting for the price reduction just because they tend to be a bit pricey. I find it hard to pay 20€ or more for a Zara necklace while I could spend that money on a simple silver necklace.
In this set I tried to put a mix of accessories that scream summer.

Here are a few bags suggestions on sales. I've chosen neutral tones because it's a must have, bags in neutral tones match with everything and have much more use than colorful ones, that's why it's best to invest more money on quality neutral bags.

Sales Suggestions - Leather Jackets

The leather jacket is a must on every woman's wardrobe, they are made on different colours, styles and shapes that can suit any body type. It's wise to invest some money in a great piece that will last you an eternity than buy a cheaper one that within a year or two will be visibly damaged. That's why sales are there perfect opportunity to invest on a good leather jacket.

I selected these three jackets from Mango on three different colours for my suggestions.

I couldn't resist you... Cantê

Cantê's collection has blown my mind away, and I couldn't resist not having a piece on my wardrobe. The chosen one was Esther. As soon as I saw it on the lookbook I knew it was perfect for me.

I'm very pleased with its quality and fitting, and also with the quickness of the girls of the shop that replied all my emails and within a day my order was at home.

Summer Sales

The Sales season has begun a couple of weeks ago and most of the shops have now reached very reasonable prices. On Winter Sales I wrote a small text with some guidelines about what to buy (you can see it here) and as it doesn't hurt to remind, here's some tips to have in consideration on the Spring/Summer Sales.

1. Make a list of things that are lacking or need replacement in your wardrobe.

2. Set a budget. That will help you to not overspend.

3. Go to the shops early in the morning, that way you avoid crowds and find an organized shop.

4. Always check the original price of a garment to see exactly how much you are saving.

5. Check if the pieces are in good conditions. 

6. Go for Quality over quantity!

7. Have a look on the next season trends and bet on pieces that can be carry over to the next season

8. Don't forget that this is the perfect time to purchase Basics!

The bikini saga continues...

 After I introduce to you some portuguese swimwear brands and also my sweetheart Calzedonia, today I'm showing you other international brands.

For starters, my brazilian favourites Cia Marítima and Água Doce.
I tend to go for their basics pieces, mainly because of their cut and great quality. I consider Cia Marítima, in my opinion, is the queen of prints, always sending your mind to tropical paradises.

A brand that I've recently discovered is Khongboon Swimwear. I've bumped on it accidentally while I was navigating online and it was enough. Its exotic prints and patterns caught my eye as also the shape and cut of the bikinis. 

Finally, there's the famous surf brand, Billabong. I love its designs and quality but I don't understand why the bottom pieces of bikinis that are sell in Europe are different from the ones in Brazil, I'm always disappointed when i see the bottom pieces on the europe online shop, while in other shops they have much more variety. Although this minus point, I think their basics are great and cheaper than the brazilian brands i've mentioned, and are available in many colours and different  shapes of bottom pieces (even in Europe!).

100% Portuguese swimwear brands

When it come to bikinis, on the past few year, my searches always ended up on brazilian brands or Calzedonia. But I always felt that there weren't many options when it came to the style and shape (at least in Portugal). Apparently, I was ignoring a wide range of portuguese options. I've already shown you here an here some amazing brands that took my breathe away. So today I'm bringing you another bunch of portuguese swimwear brands.

 bracelets.

Calzedonia Summer '14

June is the official month of summer, at least if you are on the northern hemisphere, and with it the desire to spend as much time as possible on the beach or by the pool.

With that, I'm bring another bikini brand, the italian and super famous Calzedonia. Everyone knows it, and personally I have at least half a dozen bikinis from it. So, for this very reason I select a sample of this summer collection. Every year they come up with different concepts which are reflected into the desgins, new shapes and fabrics giving us a wide variety of pieces. Don't forget to check their basics line which I think are a must!

White Jeans

A piece that you definitely should have in your wardrobe is a pair of white jeans. They can be very versatile, combine them with a pair of espadrilles and a laid back top and you are ready for a walk by the beach, or transform the look with a pair of high heels and a silk top for a night out.
