Skin Care

When it comes to my facial daily routine these are my basics: a good cleaning product and tonic (I'm currently using the Normaderm line from Vichy), a good moisturizer (I have one for the day from Ducray and another for the night from La Roche-Posay, this one is great to correct imperfections), an eye contour gel and a sunscreen lotion (SPF50). 
In addiction to all that I try to drink water as much as I can and have good night sleep.

I'm currently thinking of buying thermal water from La Roche-Posay to freshen up the face on the spring/summer days.

All of these products are for oily/combo skin except the eye contour gel.

Santa off season

This time of year I feel like Santa part 2, well, maybe I don't get out Santa mode at all. February and March are the months with more birthdays together than the other ten months all combined.
 I love giving presents to my love ones. Giving something doesn't necessary means spending a lot of money, for me it's all about the gesture, to think what the person likes, to search something that I know they would love/need, basically to see a smile on their faces.
 I really like the process of chosing a present, taking the time and think how well do you know a person,  remeber something funny that happend and make a joke with it.

A cool idea for gifts are always sweets, who doesn't love them?? Here are some sweets that I'm offering to two friends of mine, one of them is crazy about gums so here it's a skewered of gums that you can make yourself.

Organization Machine

Organization is a subject that awakens the best and worst of me. There are those days that I don't care if everything isn't knit and tidy, others that I can't look at the mess around me but don't know where to start and give up (add the laziness factor to that!), and there are those incredible days that some kind of power awakes in me and I transform into a cleaning/organizing machine. So this sunday was one of those days, the machine took control of me while I was looking at a huge pile of plastic bags inside of my closet. I though to myself why on earth are those plastic bags doing there, taking out a good amount of space of my closet?? It's always good to have plastic bags around the house but they should be stored in a proper space and in a way to occupy the less amount of space possible.
So here's an example how to fold a plastic bag.

1.Flatten the bag and get all the air out of it.

2. Fold the bag in half lengthwise, and flatten again to squeeze out the air.

3. Fold the bag again untill you have a strip like this.

4. Fold one bottom corner over to meet the other side to form a triangle.

5. Fold up the bottom of the bag at the line formed by the folded edge.

6. Repeat  this two-step folding until you reach the top of the bag.

7.  Fold the rest of the bag and handles and tuck one end into the triangle you have formed.

Et voilà!

Black and White

Here's a black and white combo inspired by a look worn by Olivia Palermo for fashion week.

  Although black is the main focus, the printed pencil skirt, the organza blouse and the red sandals break its "monotony".

Its orignal price was €14,50 and with the discount costed €5,80. 

This is my first nail polish from OPI and right now I can only compliment and recommend the brand.

The sweatshirt continues to make a presence this season. It can be seen in every color and with a wide variety of prints. Unlike winter, where dark colors were predominant, now it's all about spring, there's no limits!

I chose this white sweatshirt from Mango to compose some outfits with it showing that it can be a very versatile piece.

Air Kiss

When it comes to beauty I always get lost in the amount of products available and which are or aren't best for me. Regarding cleansing and moisturizing rituals I've got my favourites and do everything to keep my complexion as healthy as possible. As for makeup I feel miles away. Usually I don't use it on a daily basis plus I own pretty much nothing (just the basics of course!). On day to day, a gloss on the lips and nail polish can work wonders. But there are those days, that dark circles and tired skin aren't acceptable and the time comes to "camouflage". Given all that, this year I've made the resolution to bet more in this "world" and start to learn more and buy a few products.

Clinique needs no introduction, their products are of exceptional quality but their prices tend to be a little above from the cosmetics brands that are available on supermarkets.

 Being in the middle of sales season (I'll never get tired of talking about this!) this is an amazing opportunity to pay a visit to cosmetic shops, explore them and check out the products that have discount.

So yesterday there I went, and bought this lip gloss from Clinique which its initial price was €19,80 for €11.80 . The gloss is long lasting and has SPF15.

I have a big crush on cashmere wonder why :)  but the prices of these kind of pieces are a bit more high in comparison with other knits. That's why the Sales season are an amazing opportunity to put my hands in these precious itens! I've already posted about this Mango jumper here and now I finally got it. From 89,99€ to 44,99€.

P.S. the jumper in the blog appear too bright in reality is a navy blue
