Refreshing Pantone Blues

I’ve already posted about some Pantone En Plein Air colours here and here, so today is time to show you my favourites shades of blue. I don't know about you guys, but I love to wear blue, especially on summer, I guess it reminds me the ocean and its freshness. 


Já escrevi alguns posts aqui e aqui sobre algumas das cores do catálogo Pantone En Plein Air, e hoje é dia de vos mostrar os meus tons favoritos de azul desta coleção. Não sei a quanto vocês, mas eu adoro usar azul, especialmente no verão, talvez seja por me lembrar o mar e a sua frescura.

Aquamarine


I'm guessing you've already seen this colour, like everywhere! It’s the lead colour for women for the Spring/Summer 15. This shade is cool and calming, “ethereal”. It’s easy to wear, has a chic je ne sais quoi and looks good on the majority of women. Sounds good to me! 

Presumo que já devem ter visto esta cor por aí, tipo em todo o lado! Esta é A cor para o vestuário feminino da estação Primavera/Verão 2015. Este tom é fresco e calmante, etéreo. É fácil de usar e fica bem na maioria das mulheres. 

Beveled Glass

This is not a consensual colour, is it green or is it blue? I would say a colour in between. This shade is incredibly refreshing since it has a minty glow. This colour would look particularly good on a tanned skin.

Esta não é uma cor consensual, será verde ou azul? Eu aposto numa cor intermédia, entre o azul e o verde. Este tom é incrivelmente refrescante já que tem um brilho de menta. Esta cor fica particularmente bem em peles bronzeadas.

Scuba Blue

For me scuba blue is the most fun colour in the catalogue. It won’t be everyone's cup of tea but If I were you I would give it a chance! This vibrant turquoise “conveys a sense of carefree playfulness”. Bet on accessories if are clueless on how to wear it. 

Para mim, esta é a cor mais divertida do catálogo! Muitos podem achar uma cor difícil de vestir, mas olhem bem para os exemplos em baixo, dão ou não vontade de usar todos os dias?! Para as menos ousadas em cor sugiro que apostem nos acessórios e divirtam-se conjugando as cores! :)

Tangerine and Strawberry Ice, Pantone tasty colors

Among Marsala, in the 2015 Spring Pantone colors, are these two tasty shades: Tangerine and Strawberry Ice :)
Seriously, the first words that come up to my head when i see them are delicious, tasty, nhami (that's not even a word but that's what i think!), refreshing -> ice creams! (see the connection with food!). I know my description sucks so here are the Pantone version:


"Tangerine is a juicy orange shade that is energizing, yet not jarring to the eye. ... this fun loving color invites a smile."

"Strawberry Ice is suggestive of a cooling and refreshing delicacy, yet its warmth as a color is quite appealing. Subtle and charming."

I can easly imagine myself wearing these colors all summer, and having lunch parties at my backyard with a table dresses in these shades.

Marsala, the color of 2015

Marsala has been elected the color of 2015 by Pantone. This color is present at the Pantone 2015 Spring catalog - En Plein Air, and it seems that it came to stay during all year.

A Pantone escolheu a cor Marsala como a cor do ano de 2015. Esta cor faz parte do catálogo de Primavera da Pantone - En Plein Air, e parece que veio para ficar durante todo o ano. 

Marsala is a very rich and intense color without being overpowering or dull. This strong shade invokes the deliciousness and taste of a fulfilling meal accompanied by an exquisite bottle of Marsala wine. 
Despite its sensual and sophisticated feel, Marsala is grounded on natural earthy tones, which is actually the approach of the En Plein Air spectrum, cooler and softer colour choices with subtle warm tones, taking a cue from nature.

A cor Marsala é rica e intensa sem ser avassaladora ou aborrecida. Este tom forte invoca o sabor de uma deliciosa refeição acompanhada por uma requintada garrafa de vinho Marsala. 

Apesar de transmitir sensualidade e sofisticação, a cor é baseada em tons terra, que é, na verdade, a abordagem do espectro En Plein Air, cores mais frias e suaves com subtis tons quentes, tendo a natureza como inspiração.

Placid Blue

Among the elected colors for 2014 Spring by Pantone, placid blue is probably my favorite and I suspect that it will be the most popular on everyday outfits. It's super easy to wear and it works as neutral tone or a it can also become a point of attention. I Love it, plus reminds of summer... :)

Radiant Orchid

Pantone acclaims it Queen and I bow. 

Radiant Orchid is the Queen of the the next season and it's going to be seen everywhere. I'm really love this color, it's soft with a warm feeling. Plus it makes me travel to Spring and dream with its arrival... 2months :(
