Cantê Lx - Tropical state of mind

The 2015 Cantê Lx collection was finally released! Seriously, I was counting the days in a (almost) despair state. But last friday, after refreshing their facebook page a gazillion times, the 2015 swimwear collection was officially released.

First impressions: this is the summer of swimsuits. We've seen them a lot for a couple of summers but this is it's year. It's the ultimate statement piece to have. I couldn't agree more, swimsuits can do wonders for a woman figure and look incredibly cool.

There are also a few high waist pieces, like bikinis and also swimsuits. The tropical prints are also a reference of the brand (the prints are designed by Cantê), and of course couldn't miss on the collection. The predominant colours that were used are white, green, blue and turquoise.

In overall, the collection kept the essence of the brand but has brought some novelties, like new shapes and silhouettes.

Which are your favorite models?

A coleção de Verão da Cantê Lx foi finalmente lançada! A sério, eu estava a chegar a um estado de desespero com esta espera. Mas na sexta-feira, depois de ter atualizado um milhão de vezes a página de facebook da marca, a coleção de 2015 foi oficialmente lançada.

Primeiras impressões: este é o Ano dos fatos-de-banho. Já os tínhamos visto nos últimos dois anos, mas este ano a peça dominou por completo a coleção. Para mim, é a peça a ter, os fatos-de-banho podem fazer maravilhas na figura feminina além de darem um ar muito in e cool.

Também há vários modelos de cintura subida, quer em biquínis e fatos-de-banho. Os padrões tropicais tão característicos da marca (os padrões são desenhados pela Cantê) não podiam deixar de aparecer. As cores predominantes foram o branco, verde, azul e turquesa.

Em geral, a coleção manteve a sua essência mas trouxe várias novidades, como novas e formas e silhuetas.

Josefinas 1001 Noites

Josefinas, a portuguese shoes brand, doesn't stop to surprise me. It's unbelievable how this brand is growing especially when the brand operates in market niche, luxurious Ballerina flats. I seriously can't wait to own a pair, or a few pairs :)

This time, Josefinas launched a new line inspired in the world and tales of 1001 Nights, describing the line as The most luxurious adventure yet.

The first three pairs of the collection (Babylon, Persia and Jordan) conquered me as soon as I saw them and were meant to be an hit, but then the brand released their secret weapon, The Blue Persian Salt, which are the world most expensive ballerina flats.

The words that come to my mind to describe this collection are luxurious, elegance, sumptuousness, mystery and sophistication. I can't wait to see what Josefinas will do next!

Lemon Jelly

I believe I've heard about Lemon Jelly for the first time a couple of years ago. I used to associate the brand with their wellies, but today the brand has expanded tremendously their footwear collection and also their accessories line.

Lemon Jelly is designed, developed and produced in Portugal and the combination of labour, research, design and materials produce an high-tech product with a fun and colorful touch. 

I've got to say that my favourite shoes are the colorful wellies, the ones that caught my attention a couple of years ago, because I believe that's the essence of this brand, once you've seen them you will never forget.

Acho que a primeira vez que ouvi falar da Lemon Jelly foi há cerca de dois anos. Eu costumava associar a marcar a galochas, mas hoje em dia a marca expandiu imenso a coleção de calçado e apostou também numa linha de acessórios.

O calçado e acessórios Lemon Jelly são desenhados, desenvolvidos e produzidos em Portugal, e a combinação de trabalho, pesquisa, design e materiais dão origem a um produto de alta tecnologia com um toque de humor e cor.

De todos os sapatos os meus preferidos são as “galochinhas”, as mesmas que chamaram a minha atenção há uns anos, o que me faz crer que é essa essência da marca, depois de vê-la nunca mais nos esquecemos. 

Josefinas

Josefinas is a portuguese shoes brand that is specialized on flats. There's no big novelty on flats, right? But you should definitely keep your eyes on this brand!

I remember the first time I've heard about this brand, it was a couple of years ago on a fashion blog, the flats were yellow (if my memory isn't tricking me) and absolutely gorgeous, simple and chic and yet still different. Another thing that caught my attention was the name, they are not "flats", they are Josefinas. The name lead me to the urge to find the story behind it. Filipa is the creator and designer of this amazing project, and baptized her creation with name of her grandmother, Josefina. I though this was lovely, and I start to fell in love with the brand as more as I read.

The shoes are practical, elegant, modern with the special touch of ballet shoes.
To build up Josefinas only hight quality products are used, from the skin, the leather for the soles, to the grosgrain.

I'm drooling for some pairs, especially the Moscovo edition, it's a joy for the eyes!

As Josefinas são uma marca de calçado 100% portuguesa especializada em sabrinas. Não há nenhuma grande novidade em sabrinas, certo? Mas digo-vos já para terem esta marca debaixo de olho!

Ainda me lembro da primeira vez que ouvi falar desta marca, foi há cerca de dois anos num blog de moda, as josefinas eram amarelas (se a memória não me falha!) e era lindas de morrer, chiques e simples e ao mesmo tempo diferentes. Outra coisa que me chamou a atenção foi o nome, elas não sabrinas mas sim Josefinas. O nome levou à procura da história por de trás da marca. A Filipa é a criadora e designer deste fantástico projeto e batizou a sua criação com o nome da avó, Josefina pois claro! Eu achei esta ideia amorosa e ao longo que ia lendo fui-me apaixonando.

As Josefinas são práticas, elegantes, modernas com um toque especial das sapatilhas de ballet. Elas são feitas com produtos de alta qualidade, desde as peles, o couro para as solas, até ao gorgorão.

Eu ando a babar por alguns pares, mas sobretudo pela edição Moscovo, são um regalo para a vista!

When it come to bikinis, on the past few year, my searches always ended up on brazilian brands or Calzedonia. But I always felt that there weren't many options when it came to the style and shape (at least in Portugal). Apparently, I was ignoring a wide range of portuguese options.
