A nightmare called pilling

Pilling that nightmare which is the formation of little balls of fibers on the surface of the fabric that are caused by the abrasion during the normal wear and cleaning.
Unfortunately any fiber can pill or have short fibers that break and cling to the surface of the fabric.
My nightmare is when the cold days pop up and I go to my knitwear section and find out that many of my knits have these nasty fuzz balls.
The good news are that fuzz balls are usually easily removed by pulling them carefully (especially on natural fabrics like cotton or wool).
Here are some objects that might help when it's time to get rid of the unaesthetic pilling.

 An electric shaver or pill shaver (that's what I use)
 A razor blade (preferably old)
 Duct tape

Taking care of your clothes is essential - use the adequate methods of cleaning - and also pay attention to the composition tags , don't forget that natural fabrics the best bet on quality and longevity.
